Barry Hume
Operations Director
Barry is a former student-athlete in the USA. From January 2000 he attended Paris Junior College in Texas, on a golf scholarship.
He credits his time in the USA as a major contributing factor to his many achievements during his amateur golf career, including becoming Scottish Amateur Champion in 2001, and becoming only the 5th player in Scottish golf history to hold both the Matchplay and Strokeplay titles concurrently. Barry's career in golf has created opportunities for him to travel the world and most notably he competed on the European and Asian Tours, Challenge Tour and on satellite tours in USA when he turned professional in August 2002.
Barry represented Scotland at all levels, including the 2001 European Championship winning team, in Sweden, where he holed the winning putt to secure victory for Scotland!
With his passion for football, he joined forces with Ricky to launch Soccer Innovation Scholarships and with a keen eye for spotting young sporting talent, and first-hand experience of the US collegiate system, he is there to guide you through every stage of the process and allow you to 'Live the dream'
